And ofcourse a balloon. The princess was SUPER excited! But I'm wondering if he is trying to say he really wants a boy OR just wasn't paying attention at all when he picked this balloon...LOL! I think he just wasn't thinking!

Here is a sweet pic of the princess at her school party and one with her best friend.

Ok, for the party. It was a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!! We got to have the party outside...in March...just one week after S-N-O-W!!! So check this out! For the decoration I got one of those helium tanks at walmart and blew up a ton of balloons and put them on each side of the cake table. The princess had gone to a party that only a wad of ballons for the birthday girl recently. One other kid managed to steal a ballon out of that stash so the mother put them away. When the other kids didn't get a balloon but the one kid did...disaster! Several kids (mine included) left crying because they wanted a balloon. So to avoid a fiasco like that we blew them all up, used them for decoration and gave them to the kiddos to take home with them. =)

Found this little princess carriage at a local home store. It was brown wrought iron. I got it home and gave it a quick coat of spray paint and it was ready for my princess and pirate party!

And the Dora princess cake turned out AWESOME! If you live in my area and need a great cake, call me and get my lady's number. This will MELT IN YOUR MOUTH! She was cheaperthan PUBLIX, made this Ah-DORA-ble cake and it tasted better than store bought or bakery cakes we've had! WOW!

For the party bags, sometime when I was wondering around in blogland I ran across these and bookmarked it for later. Forgot to get a picture of the ones I made, but I did the same thing with the cotton candy and sugar cones. My ribbon was white and said "thank you" in multi-color. I also tied up some silly bands with the bow on the outside of the baggie for additional goodies. For entertainment we had one of these:

And also a treasure dig! I packed these with garndening tools from the $ tree and filled them with sand, necklaces, rings, pirate patches and candy...The kids loved this!

And we had adults AS entertainment as well! Yes, that is my hubby and bff...and I know how to pick 'em! ;-)

Between the bouncy, the treasure dig, and the playground the kids had lots of fun things to choose from! We had several friends come out to celebrate with us. Here are a few pics of guests. We had so many it was hard to get pics of everyone!

What a great birthday party!! Love all the pics! Definitely need the lady's number for the cake. That was super cute!!! Happy 3rd Birthday!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly! I will FB you her name and number. She has a Hartselle number and lives out Danville Rd somewhere. My dad picked up the cake for me but she'd be really convenient for yall! =)
