Pumpkin Carving 2010

This weekend was Busy-Busy, but LOADED with fun.  I knew that it would be busy so I had planned to take Friday afternoon off work.  And wouldn't you know it, the LAST month we are on the market we get TWO appointments to view the house!  I had to run home and CLEAN which left me no time to prepare for the weekend like I had orignally planned!  So, Saturday morning we got up and got the girls ready to go take some family pics.  After promising them icecream if they were good, I had to pay up.  Next Cupcake took a quick nap and we left for a local campground on the mountain.  It was BEAUTIFUL there.  We spent time with my mom and Step-dad and all of his kids and grandkids and my brother.  I had a really rough week at work and had been mentally drained, therefore, forgot my camera.  If we get to do it again then I will definately be taking it because there were some great photo ops and great memories of making smores, glow sticks, chili, and football made there!  Speaking of football, I am SO excited that AUBURN is No.1 in the BCS!!!!!!!!  YAY!!!!!!!!  Ok, I know, enough of that.  ;-)  So today after church we went to join my best friend and her family for pumpkin carving.  Below are some pics!
These sweet sisters carved the same skull pumpkins.  They were so cute!  I have a pick of all pumpkins carved toward the end of the post ;-)

Daddy carving away!

My bestie taking care of the Cupcake.  Nope, she's not asleep, just enjoying her Aunt Nannie's loving!

My bestie's niece.  She is such a cutie pie and so sweet!

Since it's almost Thanksgiving this turkey was a great idea!

My baby, she was so tired!
This Little Princess was so excited to be carving pumpkins!

All the pumpkins!  I didn't post pics of everyone due to privacy of those who might not be interested in being on a public blog.  =)  But it was a crowd and some cute pumpkins 2!

She jumped in front of the camera and yelled "CHEESE", so I had to snap this one!  =)

Daddy carved this spider per request of the Princess.  It's her "itsy-bitsy spider"

I carved this one for my Cupcake.  I love this jolly pumpkin face.  I've been carving the same one for several years so he is a tradition.  =)

How was your weekend?  Did you all carve any pumpkins yet?  Although fall is in full swing with all the activities it is still in the 80's here!  Whew!
