Any other fans out there? I am not a reader. HOWEVER, after the second movie of the series I ran home to read the cliffs notes version to the last book. I was SO DISSAPPOINTED! Then I ran across another blog who posted the preview to Eclipse. I couldn't view it on their page. But my interest was peaked so I went to youtube and found this:
Now I can't wait! Am I one of those obsessed fans? No, I don't think so. But I am liking these movies. And the hubster will go with me to them. Y.A.Y!!!!! Check this out: Now, I did 'rob the cradle' but I am not one of those moms. ;-) How about you? What do you think of this series of movies?
One day in the last month or so I braved it and took the Princess with me to Walmart. Not my favorite place to shop but they do have some items that our family really enjoys. I try to buy them in excess when I go so that the trips are as few as possible. Anyway, I promised her a cheap toy if she was a good little girl. And sure enough she was good for her mommy. Her toy of choice you ask? A hoola-hoop! Ofcourse she enjoyed it so much that her sister had to have one too! Now she and her sister demand their daddy to perform some of his 'tricks' with them. Sunday after church we headed out to the backyard for some fun and I snapped these:
Remember the guardian in our family? Last time I posted his pic of him with the Lil' Cupcake he looked like this: He's part 1/2 chow chow and 1/4 german shepard and 1/4 something else. Anyway, he went to the Pet Pawlor where we live and came out with a new attitude! Check him out now!!! He's so handsome! He's got that little bandanna on and he thinks he's hot to trot now! The bandanna is blue with white dots this year. Last year's was black with skull and cross bones. We may have to pull it back out since that would be daddy's favorite. I absolutely love his attitude after a good grooming! He was tired when I took the pics this afternoon. He's looking young with his new "do" but he IS 12 years old. He's still doing well for his age. I say because he's such a great mix! He's been through so much of my life's ups and downs with me. I am so glad my girls are getting to know him. They absolutely adore him too! Hope you all are having a blessed week!
So the last couple of weeks I've posted all at once or not at all. We have been REALLY busy. We've been cleaning our house to get it market ready. We've interviewed realtors, chose one, and LISTED! Woo-hoo. All of that to say that I will probably be a very irratic blogger until we sell or move or both. Say a prayer for us =) I still try to read the blogs I follow but probably have been commenting alot less. All due to time constraints. I can't decide to blog and do the dishes 'tomorrow' ;-) We are planning to try a new church tomorrow. I don't know if we went more than a couple of times while daddy was deployed. I love the Lord just the same as always and I know he understood how 4 hours of sleep versus 2 was so meaningful. So I got it when I could, which was usually the weekend. We went back to our normal church when daddy got back and our pastor had left. He married us. I was very sad to see him gone. And change of any kind is sorta hard for me. The church is still working through it all but for now we are going to visit some other churches and see how it goes. Maybe I can get out the camera after the service tomorrow and get some pics of the girls. Anyhoo, enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Warning, this post has MORE pictures! I took alot on that Friday that I was off work and in that few hours we were at my mom's house! I just knew I had taken more pics of the Princess before the Lil' Cupcake woke up. I found them. So here are more of my little model! Giving Mimi Kisses: And stopping to smell that lonely but beautiful tulip in the front yard! Mimi, I hope you enjoyed getting to see these! Wish I had the time while you were here to go through them. Thank you for all your help allowing us to do so much to get our house ready to show!
I am participating in this weeks I "heart"... at You and Me Plus Three. Go there now to add yours and read others!!
i ~♥~ that my MIL came for a visit last week. She is awesome to us and my girls adore her. Here is a shot of her and the Princess and ofcourse a Dora doll.
i ~♥~ that the eggs in the birds nest at my mom's house hatched! I am pretty sure it's a ROBIN'S NEST =) i ~♥~ our CLEAN HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!! What do you *heart* this week?
Thursday my MIL kept the girls and Friday I took off from work and we did alot of running around. It was the only day I got pictures =( My MIL and the girls went to my mother's house so that I could get my hair did. When I went to mom's I broke out the Nikon and started snapping. At first the Lil' Cupcake was still down for a nap. I convinced Mimi and Gigi to make a Princess sandwich. She loved it!
Once both girls were outside I took LOTS of pics. We had the Lil' Missy Princess at the Photography studio earlier that day so I think I was focused on getting pics of the Lil' Cupcake. The Princess was about photographed all she could take. I got a couple of shots I really liked:
Both Gigi and Mimi ended up swinging the girls.... The girls were in heaven. They didn't know which direction to go next to get attention. LOL! We decided to head to mom's front yard to get more pics. This was the best I could get of the Princess. She was tired of "looking" and "smiling" The next couple are sweet shots of Mimi and her girls:
So cute! They both gave the Lil' Cupcake Sugar at the same time! In this one I just love the look on my MIL face and that the Lil' Cupcake is reaching so high for her! She loves her Mimi! We all love our Mimi! Both girls are missing her already. Monday when we got home the first thing the Lil Princess asked was "where's daddy and Mimi?" And on the way to school that Morning the Lil' Cupcake kept asking "Where's Mimi?", "Where's Mimi?", "Where's Mimi?" LOL!The Princess missed her especially at bedtime. We had to call Mimi and get her to sing "Puff the Magic Dragon" before she'd go to sleep. I am definately blessed to have a great MIL.
